WATCHING YOU, WATCHING ME!

Oh my god I so need to get out more! The lovely Kaycie over at the now private "Lost in the Bible Belt" told me all about stat counters and the information they provide......

Being a nosey bugger, I had to install it and have spent several happy hours clicking this button or that option, merrily looking at information or statistics that to be totally honest meant absolutely nothing.....

What I did found out is that I have loads of visitors who just swing by, have a read and slip away again. Please say hi next time so I can return the favour..... It would be lovely to know who is behind all these snippets of information I am suddenly party to.

One very interesting piece of information was that I have a reader apparently in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Nigeria by the looks of things, who reads me alot. I wonder who you are...................

It is really fascinating who pops over and where they are from and even more fascinating is what words they use on a google search and come across our blog!

Well, this is me, Windy, from Glasgow saying Hi. xx

I thought you'd like the statcounter! It really is fascinating and fun to see where your readers are. I remember being surprised at the numbers of people reading me who didn't leave comments.

It is fun, isn't it! Makes you wonder why people don't leave any comment. I wonder did they stumble on us by accident, didn't they like what we had to say or are they secret viewers?

I was amazed at the readers I had that dropped by.

You have a great blog!

So hello and love from Connecticut!

Hi right back at you Windy and as you say, its fascinating who finds us and how.

Kaycie, I'm worried at how you've got me sussed so quickly!

Maggie, I wouldn't like to add up the snatched minutes spent gazing at a map of the world and zooming in to random streets in places I have never heard of.

MWAH Suzy and thanks as ever.

Sweary, will try and help - it will fascinate you too I'm sure.

GBS Welcome and thanks for introducing yourself.

Elsie thanks for stopping by.... Five is easy once you get past juggling two the rest is a breeze.

Where it gets really interesting is when you lookup the google searches that being people to your site. I once mentioned the woman in the blue catsuit who does the Thomson local ads only to have a flurry of readers looking for pictures etc. I felt so guilty about dissapointing them (not!) :)

Just came to catch up - that's intriguing! How do you do it? Would you mind popping over mine and letting me know how to get or use a counter? No rush. Thanks a bunch.
