Great list! I have no idea what baby whispering is. Now I'm curious.

I totally agree with the common sense one and holding your daughters baby, that made me go ooohhhh me too! hold my own daughters baby not yours..... x

Hi Kaycie, Tracey Hogg was known as the Baby Whisperer and has written books on raising babies/toddlers - they are brilliant - full of tips and lots of common sense.

Hi S/Employed Mum. Having Evie so late (almost 40) was a big decision and I just want to be around for her...... Not morbid about it but its there in the back of my mind........

No wonder I like you! That list sounds very similar to one I'd write, apart from the "fancy a shag" bit.

I've got a headache....... would be more appropriate.

Hey S/M. Cool, that's a real compliment. Cheers honey. x

The Woman who Can said...

MMOF, we may have been separated at birth. Although I haven't read it too recently, I still love:

'And she gazed at the sky, the sea, the land,
The waves and the caves and the golden sand,'

from The Snail & The Whale, second only in my affections to Each Peach Pear Plum.

I may have a go at this, just to see how alike we are!

Hey Tina! have wondered this myself when I have read some of your posts. Go on, give it a go and we'll see.

Thanks for dropping by.

I say do # 2 as soon as you can...

Paris is beautiful! I have a friend who lets me use her house in the Loire Valley in France - about 2 hours from Paris, and I visit Paris everytime I go there even if it's just for a couple of days.

No other place like it!
Love,
Suzy

Am definitely aiming to do this as soon as Miss Evie-D (the daughter) is old enough to have at least some memory of it.

Thanks for the recommendation Suzy x.
