BECKHAM

Well I am sitting here at work absolutely fuming. Just heard on the radio that David Beckham, that god-like master of the football pitch has been excluded from the squad to play the upcoming FRIENDLY international, thus denying him his 100th cap.
To say I am rather disgusted with that arrogant twat of a manager the FA have brought in would be a fair understatement.
It's not like England have any major championships to worry about in the near future, so would it have killed that man (can't even bring myself to type his name) to let the beautiful Beckham play for a half and secure his 100th cap.
Husband tells me I don't understand, well sod off husband and bring back Beckham!
Yours a very pissed off MMOF!

I'm sorry I can't share your frustration. I know nothing about football, couldn't care less I hate to say. I do know that David Beckham is extremely gorgeous eye candy and that he is a fabulous footballer, if only he would keep his mouth shut, his voice spoils his whole image.
xx

Windy, don't worry about your lack of understanding of the beautiful game, you get the gist of my complaint. Football without Beckham just isn't the same!!!

Suzy, you tease, enjoy him while you have him! Thanks, as ever for the compliment. Love ya right back X

I'm guessing you didn't take the news so well?

Lovely to see you, I've taken a leaf out of your (glamorous) book, and I've posted a photo too...

G'day from sunny Australia,

I was similarly surprised when Becks was left out. I have a strong sporting background too, so I knew there would be an uproar over this.

Tina, I had a total and utter sense of humour failure! And over another man - good job the husband isn't the jealous type!!

Welcome David. Still quietly simmering about it all and was gratified when Alan Hansen, possibly the most respected football pundit over here said exactly the self same thing before the game - couldn't believe that such an ambassador for English football had been denied his 100th cap just because the new manager wanted to stamp his authority on the job. Stamp his feet like a petulant child more like....

God I'm off again! I'll shut up now!!
